Idea:
I think it's fair to say a lot of people miss the old Kanye West these days. Here's a handmade promo poster for a conceptual apology tour.
Tools used:
Colored paper, exact-o knife, just a tad of photoshop
Client:
Stella Artois
More:
This was shot in real life. Of course, I didn't actually turn the gravity off for the shoot. That stuff was done in photoshop after, but thats my hand!
Idea:
As assignment in ad school, we were asked to recreate a movie poster so that it looked retro. Not sure it needs more explanation
Tools used:
Adobe Illustrator
Idea:
I was asked to create a poster with a saying that strongly resonates with me. I chose the saying "don't drink the kool aid", as I like to make sure I know why I do stuff rather than just blindly doing it. Anywho, I thought it would be cool if the Kool-Aid itself told you not to drink it
Tools:
Kool-Aid, alphabet icecube trays, water (solid and liquid forms), lots of patience
Client:
Q-tips
More:
This came about after I was asked to make an infographic of my choosing for an ad school class (boring). I chose to turn it into an ad for Q-tips based on the fact that our ears are growing to new heights.
Idea:
So basically, if you've watch The Shining you understand the significance of crayons in the film. I thought it would be cool/creepy if the movie poster was made using crayons so it looked a bit like it was made by a child. I channeled my inner child then politely asked him to recreate the iconic hallway scene.
Tools used:
Crayons (shoutout Crayola), Photoshop to place copy
Idea:
Reimagining Mac Miller's first posthumous album
